Piggy How to Get Skins
Tokens, quests, pages, endings, and gamepasses—every practical unlock path.
Skins are the long-term collection goal in MiniToon’s Piggy. Some cost Piggy Tokens in the shop, some rotate through daily skin quests, some were season exclusives, and the prestige set hides behind pages and endings. This guide explains how to earn currency, what each unlock bucket means, and where to go next. Compare wishlists on the Skins Tier List, then chase secrets via the Secret Skins Guide. Promo Codes almost never replace these systems—check that hub when something is actually active.
Piggy Tokens economy
Piggy Tokens are the main shop currency. You see your balance in the shop UI.
Common earn rates (classic values players still farm around):
- Escape as a survivor: about 15 tokens (about 30 with x2 Piggy Tokens)
- Capture as Piggy or Traitor: about 5 per takedown (10 with x2)
- Escape as Traitor: about 30 (60 with x2)
- Hard Mode clear bonus: about +10 that does not double with the gamepass
- Swarm clears: much higher base payouts (often cited around 45 / 90 with x2)
You can also buy token bundles with Robux. Efficient free play usually means repeating chapters you already route well—Carnival, Gallery, and other short maps—on Swarm and/or Hard once you can survive the pressure. Build Mode escapes do not replace real chapter farming for tokens.
Spend priority for new accounts:
- One readable cheap shop skin so you are not stuck on default forever
- Slow Trap and another low-cost trap upgrade (see Traps Tier List)
- Mid shop staples you actually equip (Doggy, Bunny, Tigry, Zizzy lines)
- Expensive flex skins only after secret page skins are in progress
Shop skins
The in-game Shop lists Book 1 and Book 2 hunters with token prices. Early rows (Little Brother, Mother, Father, Sheepy, Bunny, and similar) are intentionally cheap teaching purchases. Late rows (Spidella, Twins, Kraxicorde, Silzous, and other premium threats) are long Swarm grinds. Bot chapters often reuse shop skins as the chapter’s infected face, which is why collectors feel pressure to “own the map.”
Shop skins are permanent once bought. They are not the same as daily recolors or expired season tiers.
Daily skin quests
Daily Skin Quests offer alternate recolors tied to chapter rotation. Roughly once per day you receive a quest such as escaping a listed map or securing Piggy kills. Completing it unlocks that day’s alternate. You can pay Robux to refresh or skip ahead, but patience clears the set over a few weeks per book track.
Dailies are the best “log in once” collector habit. They do not replace Sentinel, Willow, Distorted, Mr. P, or TIO—those remain page and ending rewards.
Season exclusives
Past seasons (Mr. P’s Lab, Haunting, Holiday Hustle, Expectant Exploration, Witching Hour, Whistling Winter, Paranormal Pigmas, and others) sold or rewarded exclusive skins and trap reskins for season currencies like vials, candies, gifts, or relics. Many of those cosmetics are unobtainable now. This wiki mentions them so you recognize locked icons; do not plan a brand-new account around expired battle-pass tiers.
When a new season appears, spend season currency on the exclusive you care about first, then convert leftovers only if the season still sells token bundles.
Gamepasses that affect collecting
Useful passes for skin hunters:
- x2 Piggy Tokens — best long-term value if you will grind shop rows
- x2 Piggy Chance — more hunter time for kill tokens and practice, not a direct skin unlock
- Build Mode save slots — unrelated to chapter skins, useful only for creators
Gamepasses never grant Sentinel, TIO, or Mrs. P by themselves. They only accelerate token play or convenience.
Pages, endings, and side quests (free prestige)
These unlocks cost time and skill, not token sticker prices:
- Sentinel — all Book 1 pages
- Willow — all Book 2 pages
- Piggy (Distorted) — all pages in both books
- Mr. P — Plant True Ending
- Mrs. P — Bittersweet quest
- TIO — Lab Hidden Ending
- Ombra — Breakout quest
- Duocara — Mansion quest
- Crawling Trap — Docks-related trap quest (not a skin, but the same quest mindset)
Follow Pages & Locations, Secret Skins, and Lab Endings for steps. Private servers make voting and retries sane.
Codes (usually none)
Piggy does not run a constant code pipeline like some simulator games. When MiniToon or partners release a redeemable, list it on the Codes hub with reward and expiry notes. Do not expect codes to replace Swarm farming or page grinding. If the codes page says none are active, believe it and return to tokens or quests.
There is no official Trello tracking every skin drop. Use the shop UI, daily quest panel, and this wiki.
Suggested roadmap
Week 1: Learn chapters via Getting Started, buy a cheap shop skin, unlock Slow Trap, start House pages.
Week 2–3: Finish Book 1 pages for Sentinel, keep dailies going, farm Swarm on short maps for tokens.
Month 1: Clear Book 2 pages for Willow and Distorted, attempt Mr. P, skim Main Cast so ending choices make sense.
Later: Mrs. P, Ombra, Duocara, then TIO with a dedicated group. Spend leftover tokens on traps and premium shop rows you still want.
Intercity reminder
Piggy: Intercity launched June 13, 2026 as a separate game. Skins and currencies earned there do not automatically fill classic Piggy’s shop. Keep inventories mentally separate when guides mention both.
Collecting every skin is a marathon. Tokens buy convenience; pages and endings buy prestige. Mix daily quests with one serious secret objective per session and your roster will grow without burning out.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
What is the fastest way to earn Piggy Tokens?
Clear short chapters you know well, ideally on Swarm and Hard Mode. The x2 Piggy Tokens gamepass doubles most earn rates except the flat Hard bonus.
Do daily skin quests give main secret skins?
No. Dailies grant alternate recolors. Sentinel, Willow, Distorted, Mr. P, TIO, Ombra, and Duocara use pages or special quests.
Are season skins still obtainable?
Many older season exclusives are locked after their events ended. Check the shop and current season panel before grinding expired currencies.
Should I buy skins or traps first?
After one cheap readable skin, prioritize useful traps like Slow and Alarm. Traps change win rate; extra shop flex does not.
Are there working codes for free skins?
Rarely. Check the Codes hub for anything active. Most of the time there are no useful skin codes and you should farm tokens or quests instead.
Does Intercity progress unlock classic Piggy skins?
No. Intercity is a separate experience released June 13, 2026. Use classic Piggy’s own shop, pages, and endings.
