Escape House Chapter 1 in Piggy
Full key order, item jobs, gears, well, and Penny survival tips for Book 1’s opener.
House – Chapter 1 is the first map most players meet in MiniToon’s Piggy. You wake inside a suburban nightmare, Penny stalks the halls, and escape means chaining colored keys, a hammer, a wrench, gears, a well, and a final code panel before the timer dies. This walkthrough explains a reliable order, where items commonly spawn, how the escape door comes together, and how to survive Bot or Player Penny without panic clicks.
New to the game? Skim Getting Started and keep Controls open for crouch and interact binds. Codes will not bail you out—main Piggy redemption is disabled.
Round setup
- Vote House and Bot while learning.
- Survivors spawn with a head start; Piggy wakes shortly after.
- Canonical bot skin for House is Penny (older eras used Little Brother on early maps; modern House teaches Penny).
- Goal: complete the front-door escape sequence before elimination or timeout.
Escape logic (big picture)
House teaches Piggy’s language: colored key → matching lock → next tool. Conceptually you will:
- Find the Green Key and open the green door.
- Take the Red Key, open the upstairs red door, grab the Blue Key.
- Unlock the shed with blue; gather wrench/hammer/gears/yellow as spawns allow.
- Use the Wrench on power panels (escape area and laser-room panel).
- Use the Hammer to remove boards on the escape door (and related boarded paths).
- Clear lasers, grab Orange Key / gear pieces as needed, open basement orange access.
- Use Yellow Key on the yellow safe for the door code.
- Place red and green gears in the shed machine to raise the well bucket for the White Key.
- Apply white key + code + powered, unboarded door to escape.
- Optional: unlock the gun via purple safe to stun Penny for about twenty seconds.
Item rooms shuffle within known spawn pools—check every listed spot instead of memorizing one pixel.
Key and item reference

| Red Key | Opens upstairs red door | Inside green key room |
| Blue Key | Opens backyard shed | Inside red key room |
| Yellow Key | Opens yellow basement safe | Shed, attic corner, vent bench, garage |
| Orange Key | Opens orange basement/garage path | Laser room, shed, near well |
| White Key | Final lock on escape door | Well bucket after both gears seated |
| Purple Key | Helps access purple safe / gun path | Bathroom, kitchen, laser-control room, basement |
| Hammer | Removes escape boards (and tunnel boards) | Laser room, garage, shed, green room |
| Wrench | Escape panel + upstairs laser panel | Shed, red room, long-vent bench |
| Green & Red Gears | Shed machine → raises well | Garage, laser room, living/dining shelves and tables |
| Gun | Stuns Piggy ~20s | Purple safe (needs purple access + hammer as required) |

Recommended survivor route
Phase 1 — Color chain
Sweep green key spawns immediately. Unlock green, take red, rush upstairs red, grab blue and any plank/wrench that rolled into that room. Blue opens the shed—your toolbox for the rest of the map.
Phase 2 — Power and boards
With wrench and hammer secured (check shed and leftover indoor spawns), hit the escape door panels: wrench for power, hammer for wood boards. Do not stand at the door crafting forever; Penny camps this attractor.
Also wrench the upstairs panel that kills the laser grid. Laser room often holds orange key, a gear, or purple key—high value, high traffic.
Phase 3 — Basement and code
Orange key opens the basement garage path. Yellow key opens the yellow safe for the numeric code. Carry the code in your head or party chat; dying with exclusive knowledge hurts the team.
Phase 4 — Gears and well
Seat both gears in the shed’s glassed gear box. The backyard well raises a bucket containing the White Key. White finishes the physical lock on the front escape.
Phase 5 — Exit
Confirm: boards gone, power on, white key used, code entered. Leave as a group if possible so Penny cannot snipe the last holder in the doorway.
Tips versus Penny
- Crouch in vents and tight furniture lines when she commits to a hallway.
- Do not jingle the gun early; stun her when a teammate is trapped on wrench/code duty or during the final door animation window.
- Listen for wake-up text and footsteps—House is compact, so audio matters.
- Split roles: one player freeds lasers/gears while another secures yellow/code.
- In Player mode, expect traps on shed, well, and exit approaches—see trap energy notes in Controls.
- In Swarm or Player + Bot, finish gears earlier; later minutes flood threats.
Team calls that save rounds
Use short calls: “green done,” “wrench on me,” “laser clear,” “need red gear,” “white up,” “code is ####.” Piggy voice chat chaos is fine; silent duplicate wrench trips are not.
After you escape House
- Repeat until you can clear Bot without a guide open.
- Try Player mode once spawn pools feel familiar.
- Move through later Book 1 chapters with the same key→lock discipline.
- Explore Pages Locations and Secret Skins on replay runs.
- When ready for finale energy, study Lab Endings.
- Browse the Guides Hub for the full list.
Why House is the best teacher
House compresses fall damage awareness, lasers, vents, safes, multi-tool doors, and stun guns into one map. Every later chapter remixes these verbs. Ten intentional House escapes beat twenty confused public hops on Metro or City.
Remember franchise facts while you grind: Piggy launched January 2020, passed 14B+ visits, spans Book 1 & Book 2, has no official Trello, and points community traffic to discord.gg/piggy. Tokens come from play, not from main-game codes.
Clear House, crouch like you mean it, and only then worry about harder modes. Penny is scary until the item graph lives in your head—after that, she is just another timer.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
What is the first key I need in Piggy House?
Usually the Green Key. It opens the green door that leads toward the red key and the rest of the color chain.
How do I get the White Key in House Chapter 1?
Place both the red and green gears in the shed machine. The backyard well raises a bucket that holds the White Key.
Where is the escape door code?
Inside the yellow safe in the basement. Unlock that safe with the Yellow Key.
How do I turn off the lasers?
Use the Wrench on the upstairs panel that controls the laser room, then enter for orange key, gears, or other spawns.
What does the gun do against Penny?
The gun stuns Piggy for roughly twenty seconds. Save it for clutch moments near the exit or when a teammate is stuck on an objective.
Which mode should I use to learn House?
Bot mode. Learn item order against AI Penny before queueing Player, Player + Bot, or Swarm.
